This week in DGST 395, my main focus was my retro HTML page.
When we first started working on HTML, I was pretty nervous because I have no previous coding experience. However, once we got into it I really started to enjoy the process of coding.
For my page, I chose to feature plants native to the Fredericksburg area. I thought this would be good because I could include images, links, and stylize my page somewhat.
Throughout the week, I worked on each of these things, and I often used shortcuts in Sublime to do somewhat of a trial and error process in stylizing my page.
I also learned how to add color in different forms and how to add and create GIFs for my HTML page through peer teaching on Wednesday and Friday.
For my peer teaching, I taught about different font families, sizes, and forms and how to achieve these in HTML.
