This week, we continued our discussion of AI, applied it more to ethics, and analyzed the way that AI can create various things.
On Monday, we spent the majority of the class discussing the railroad game. In this game, you would pick whether or not you wanted to save/kill different amounts of people. Then we explored this topic more in a crosswalk game. I thought it was really interesting how this applied to future AI in things like self-driving cars, and the ethics that go behind programming what the car should do in one of these situations.
On Wednesday, I missed class because of a lacrosse game, but I went back over the class material and saw that we discussed the Black Software Persual reading as well as the connection between race and AI.
On Friday, we played a game in which the class attempted to differentiate between art created by AI and art/poems created by humans.
